CONTINUOUS GLUCOSE MONITORING (CGM) using flash glucose monitoring technique is now being done at Diabetes Care Centre. This technique involves fixing a sensor (shown in the picture gallery) to the back portion of patients arm. This will record blood glucose continuously over twenty four hours for fourteen days. This will help in fine tuning treatment to prevent too many highs and lows in blood glucose values. This test is especially useful for patients having frequent low blood glucose and wide fluctuations in blood glucose. For appointment for CGM please call Dr at 9446 567 567.
